In this research article, a single-fed dual-band circular polarized (CP) dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) for dual-function communication, such as GPS and WLAN, was made. Initially, the proposed design process initiated by designing linearly singly fed-DRA. To attain CP fields, cross-shape conformal metal strip optimized to excite fundamental high-order mode in two frequency bands. The metallic (parasitic) utilized on top of rectangular DRA improve widen impedance axial ratio (AR) bandwidth. This step led 2.73% improvement lower band an impact 6.5% upper while other side significant witnessed AR bandwidth both A prototype designed fabricated order validate its operations. measurement outcomes antennas authenticated wideband bandwidths 6.4% 25.26%, 3-dB ratios 21.26% 27.82% respectively. is decent candidate global positioning system (GPS) wireless local area network (WLAN).
